Special devotional train flagged off under leadership of Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma; elaborate arrangements ensured for pilgrims

Under the Ram Lalla Darshan (Ayodhya Dham) Scheme, a group of 91 devotees departed from Rajnandgaon Railway Station for Ayodhya via a special train. The occasion witnessed enthusiastic participation, with Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma playing a key leadership role in organizing and overseeing the religious journey.
The railway station premises witnessed a vibrant atmosphere from early morning as devotees and their family members gathered to bid farewell. Devotional songs, chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” and spiritual enthusiasm marked the departure ceremony.
Leadership and Spiritual Initiative
Neelu Sharma personally interacted with the pilgrims and encouraged them before departure. He stated that the journey is not merely an opportunity for darshan but also an important initiative aimed at strengthening faith, cultural unity, and spiritual connection across the state.
He emphasized that the government’s objective is to ensure that people from every section of society get the opportunity to visit Ayodhya and seek blessings of Lord Shri Ram, with all necessary facilities being arranged for their comfort.
Focus on Safety and Passenger Facilities
Reviewing travel arrangements, Sharma directed officials to ensure there is no compromise in passenger safety and convenience. Considering the summer season, special emphasis was placed on the availability of drinking water, shaded waiting areas, health check-ups, and emergency medical services.

He reiterated that providing a safe, comfortable, and memorable pilgrimage experience for devotees remains the top priority.
Public Representatives Extend Wishes
Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey, BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, Dongargaon Nagar Panchayat President Anju Sharma, Rural Mandal President Kanak Dubey, along with several public representatives and party office-bearers, were present on the occasion.
All dignitaries extended best wishes to the pilgrims and appreciated the initiative as an important step connected to public faith and cultural values.
Comprehensive Administrative Arrangements
Prior to departure, accommodation arrangements for pilgrims were made at Udayachal Bhavan in the city, where essential facilities were provided. Adequate arrangements for meals, drinking water, medical assistance, and security were ensured.
The administration prepared a detailed list of passengers and appointed responsible officials to monitor and assist devotees throughout the journey.
Pilgrimage Schedule
The religious tour is scheduled from April 29 to May 2, 2026, during which devotees will visit Ayodhya Dham and offer prayers at the Ram Lalla temple. Active monitoring and coordination by Neelu Sharma played a significant role in ensuring smooth arrangements, making the journey a memorable spiritual experience for all participants.
