The district has achieved a significant milestone in the field of education this year, as the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results have registered remarkable improvement. The achievement has been attributed to the coordinated efforts of the district administration, education department, teachers, and parents.
District Collector Jitendra Yadav felicitated meritorious students of Classes 10 and 12 at a समारोह held in the Collectorate auditorium and extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their excellent performance. He stated that the success has brought pride to the entire district and reflects the dedication of students, guidance of teachers, and continuous support from parents.

Historic Improvement in Examination Results
The Collector informed that the district recorded an overall pass percentage of 89.41% in Class 10, marking an increase of nearly 21 percent compared to the previous year. Similarly, Class 12 results reached 87.56%, registering an improvement of 5.31 percent over last year.
He described the achievement as a proud moment for students and their families and emphasized that sustained academic efforts have strengthened the district’s educational standards.
Rise in First Division Performers
A notable increase was also observed in the number of students securing first division marks. In Class 10, the number of first division students rose from 3,908 last year to 5,614 this year. Likewise, in Class 12, the figure increased from 3,842 to 4,888 students.

The decline in the number of third division students was highlighted as an indicator of improving education quality across the district.
Innovative Educational Initiatives Behind Success
Collector Yadav credited several academic innovations for the improved results. These included the implementation of online classes, residential coaching programs, mentorship initiatives, continuous assessment systems, weekly and monthly examinations, and additional academic support classes.
He also mentioned that regular monitoring of attendance through the Vinoba App and focused career counseling initiatives played a crucial role in motivating students toward better academic performance.

Growing Interest in Competitive Examinations
The Collector noted a rising interest among students in competitive examinations, with increased registrations for NEET and JEE this year. Under scholarship schemes, nearly 4,000 students are being benefited, which marks a significant achievement compared to previous years.
District Education Officer Pravas Singh Baghel, Deputy Collector Vishwas Kumar, teachers, parents, and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
