Preventive Action Taken by Chichola Police; Court Sends All Three to Jail

Chichola Police took preventive action against three youths accused of allegedly entering Gurudev Rice Mill in an intoxicated condition, creating a disturbance and issuing threats in Maharajpur village under the Chichola outpost area.
The three accused were arrested and produced before the court. The court subsequently sent them to jail.
Complaint Leads to Immediate Police Action
According to police, Santosh Nayak, son of Ishwar Lal Nayak and a resident of Maharajpur village, submitted a written complaint stating that on September 29, 2026, Kamlesh Kumar Kanwar (23) and Vaibhav Kanwar (20), both residents of Maharajpur, allegedly entered Gurudev Rice Mill while intoxicated.
The third accused, Durgesh Kanwar (23), a resident of Pathratola village under Gaindatola Police Station, was also allegedly involved in the incident.

According to the complaint, the three allegedly began arguing at the rice mill. When the complainant attempted to intervene and explain the situation, the accused allegedly threatened him after he mentioned calling the police.
Preventive Action to Maintain Peace
Police said the situation created apprehension of further disturbance and breach of peace at the spot. Considering the possibility of a cognisable offence being committed, police initiated preventive action against all three individuals.
They were arrested and presented before the court, which sent them to jail.
Chichola Police Outpost said prompt action would continue in such cases to maintain peace and law and order in the area.
Police further stated that preventive and legal action would continue against individuals whose conduct poses a threat to public order.
Police Personnel Commended for Action
The police action involved Inspector Mukeshwar Dhruv, Assistant Sub-Inspector Birendra Navik, Head Constable Sunil Verma, and Constables No. 1800, 91 and 1342, whose role was described as commendable.
