A two-day training and testing camp under the Bharat Scouts and Guides commenced on Friday at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Rajnandgaon. The camp, organised for Pravesh, Pratham Sopan, and Dwitiya Sopan levels, is being held on 28 and 29 November 2025.

Addressing the students during the inaugural session, Principal Manoj Kumar emphasised that the core values of scouting revolve around service, sacrifice, and dedication. He encouraged the participants to carry out every responsibility with sincerity and always remain prepared to serve society.
On the first day of the camp, Scout Masters — Yogeshwar Sahu, Narad Jangde, and Lokesh Tidpuḍe, along with Guide Captains Pratibha Bhele and Sonam Awasthi — trained the participants on scouting structure, basic rules, discipline, and essential skills.
The school’s Guide Captain Mohini Sahu provided detailed instruction on knot-tying, campfire activities, symbols, and proficiency badges.

Department in-charge Anil Khobragade stated that such camps play a vital role in strengthening leadership qualities, teamwork, and discipline among students.
The camp concluded on Saturday with parade inspection and various evaluation activities, marking a successful completion of the two-day programme.
