Collective singing of the national song held in all schools across the district; year-long celebrations to take place in four phases

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation today. The live telecast of his address was streamed in all schools and educational institutions across the district. During the program, students, teachers, and officials collectively sang Vande Mataram, expressing deep feelings of patriotism, duty, and national pride.
To mark the anniversary in a grand manner, the State Government has planned year-long celebrations across village, block, district, and state levels in four phases:

- First Phase: 7 to 14 November 2025
- Second Phase: 19 to 26 January 2026
- Third Phase: 7 to 15 August 2026 (in collaboration with Har Ghar Tiranga campaign)
- Fourth Phase: 1 to 7 November 2026
During these phases, collective singing of the national song and various cultural and patriotic activities will be organized across all educational institutions, government offices, local bodies, and social organizations.
A special district-level event was held at PM Shri Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium School, Rajnandgaon. District Education Officer Shri Pravas Singh Baghel, PM Shri Assistant Nodal APC Shri Adarsh Vasanik, Shri Manoj Markam, Shri Prashant Banjare, school staff and students were present in large numbers.

Speakers emphasized that Vande Mataram is not just a song but a symbol of national identity and the echo of the freedom struggle.
