Collective listening programme organised at Patel Bhawan in Tumdibod Mandal; BJP leaders highlight water conservation, natural farming and grassroots outreach

Following the call of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s central leadership to take the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme to every section of society, a grand collective listening event was organised at Patel Bhawan under Tumdibod Mandal with the resolve to connect the programme with the masses.
The programme was formally inaugurated by chief guest BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, State Minister Mulchand Lodhi, District Minister Dikesh Sahu and BJP Kisan Morcha District President Daduram Sonkar through garlanding portraits of Bharat Mata and Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and lighting the ceremonial lamp. The event was successfully conducted by District Vice President Anand Sahu.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ Has Become the Voice of the People: Komal Singh Rajput
Addressing party workers, BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput said that the simple and direct communication style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has enabled every citizen of the country to feel connected with the centre of governance.
He stated that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not merely a radio programme but has emerged as the largest platform for sharing positivity and innovation across the nation. According to him, through this initiative, Prime Minister Modi has provided global recognition to unsung heroes and small grassroots innovations, which people now celebrate like a national festival.
PM Modi Appeals for Water Conservation and Innovation
During the programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address, made a strong appeal to citizens for water conservation, emphasizing that saving water for future generations is a collective responsibility.
He stressed the importance of Natural Farming and urged farmers to reduce chemical usage in agriculture to protect Mother Earth. The Prime Minister also appreciated the transformative changes taking place in rural India through initiatives such as “Drone Didi” and emerging startups.
Modi’s Vision Building a Positive Society: Ravi Sinha
During the organisational discussion, BJP District Co-Media In-charge and Councillor Ravi Sinha said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not only an informative programme but also an initiative that inspires society to move forward in a positive direction.
He added that the Prime Minister has generated a new wave of service, duty and nationalism through the programme, influencing every section of society.
Strengthening Organisation at Booth Level
State Minister Mulchand Lodhi and District President Daduram Sonkar instructed party workers to carry the messages shared in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to every farmer’s household through the “Gaon-Gaon Chalo” campaign. District Minister Dikesh Sahu also highlighted organisational activities and future outreach plans.
Dignitaries Present at the Programme
Among those present on the occasion were Hirendra Sahu (State Project Convenor), Pitambar Sahu (Former President), Tumdibod Mandal President Jageshwar Sahu, District Panchayat Member Prashant Kodape, District General Secretary Ghasiram Sahu, Manish Soni, Tumdibod Kisan Morcha Mandal President Jitendra Verma, Kamlesh Sahu, District Vice President Chhattat Patel, Tilak Sahu, along with a large number of progressive farmers and dedicated party workers.
At the conclusion of the programme, District General Secretary Ghasiram Sahu delivered the vote of thanks to all guests and participants.
