PM Modi Invokes Ram Mandir Spirit: From Divine Ideals to National Duty in Chhattisgarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today evoked the solemn vows taken during the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, calling upon the people of Chhattisgarh to embody Lord Ram’s ideals in his maternal homeland. In a heartfelt message, the Prime Minister reminded citizens of the collective resolve made on January 22, 2024: “Dev se Desh” (from divinity to nation) and “Ram se Rashtra” (from Ram to the nation). He emphasized that the spiritual awakening ignited in Ayodhya must now translate into tangible progress and unity across the country, starting with Chhattisgarh—widely regarded in cultural lore as the nanihal (maternal home) of Lord Ram.“

During the Pran Pratishtha, we all took a sacred pledge—Dev se Desh and Ram se Rashtra,” the Prime Minister stated. “Now, in his nanihal Chhattisgarh, we must bring those ideals to life through service, development, and devotion.”The call comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural connectivity and infrastructure in tribal-dominated regions of Chhattisgarh, where ancient Ram Van Gaman Path sites are being developed as part of a national heritage corridor. The Prime Minister highlighted initiatives in education, healthcare, and tribal welfare as modern manifestations of Ram Rajya—a governance model rooted in justice, equality, and compassion.

Political observers see the message as a blend of cultural resurgence and governance outreach ahead of upcoming state-level programs. Local leaders in Chhattisgarh have welcomed the remark, pledging to accelerate development projects aligned with Lord Ram’s principles of dharma and seva.

As the nation continues to draw inspiration from Ayodhya’s grand temple, the Prime Minister’s words serve as a clarion call: the journey from devotion to nation-building is far from complete—and Chhattisgarh stands at its heartfelt center.
