Over ₹1 Crore Sanctioned for Development in 18 Villages, Thanks to Speaker Dr. Raman Singh’s Efforts

Under CM’s Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme, Total Projects Worth ₹2.13 Crore Approved Across District

In a significant boost to rural infrastructure, 60 development projects worth ₹2.13 crore have been approved across Rajnandgaon district under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme 2025–26, thanks to the continuous efforts of Dr. Raman Singh, MLA of Rajnandgaon and Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.

Out of the total sanctioned amount, over ₹1 crore has been earmarked for 18 villages within the Rajnandgaon Assembly constituency, marking a substantial step toward improving rural amenities.

Key development works include:

  • Shed construction in Mudpar (₹10 lakh), Ranitari, and Bhothipar Khurd (₹3 lakh each)
  • Community buildings in villages like Barga, Indamara, and Farhad (₹6.5 lakh)
  • CC road construction in Parikhurd, Janglesar (₹7.80 lakh), and Sukuldaihan, Bamhnai, Bhanpuri, and Reevagahan (₹5.20 lakh)
  • Nirmala Ghat development in Janglesar, Reevagahan, and Raveli (₹5.20 lakh)
  • Drainage works in Dhangav and Barga (₹5.91 lakh), and Bokal (₹3.94 lakh)

Villagers across the 18 targeted areas expressed gratitude to Dr. Raman Singh for championing their needs and securing these crucial approvals. They lauded his continued focus on prioritizing rural necessities and upgrading basic infrastructure.

In a formal statement, Dr. Raman Singh thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Rural Development Minister Vijay Sharma, saying, “These approvals reflect the BJP government’s deep commitment to inclusive and village-centric development. The leadership of CM Sai and Minister Sharma is breathing new life into Chhattisgarh’s rural fabric, offering not just infrastructure but also renewed hope and confidence.”

The projects aim to enhance quality of life and provide long-term socio-economic benefits to the region’s rural population.
