With an investment of ₹73 lakh, the installation of this additional transformer boosts the substation’s total capacity from 5 MVA to 8.15 MVA. The upgrade is expected to directly benefit 6,502 power consumers in 21 villages, enhancing the reliability and voltage quality of the power supply.

Speaking on the development, Executive Engineer Mr. A.K. Dwivedi emphasized that the enhanced capacity will ensure uninterrupted and high-quality electricity supply for households and agricultural users within the substation’s coverage area.

The Chhattisgarh government has prioritized rural electrification, and this latest upgrade is a testament to its commitment to infrastructure improvement, especially in power supply for farming and remote village clusters.
