Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), a housewarming ceremony was held for two beneficiaries in the village of Nawagaon (Pinkapar) in Chhuriya block. The event was graced by the District Panchayat President, Mrs. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav, as the chief guest.

Speaking at the occasion, Mrs. Vaishnav highlighted that the PMAY-G has fulfilled the dream of owning a permanent house for millions of poor families across the country. “This is not just a house—it is a symbol of dignity, self-respect, and self-reliance,” she said. She further added that the Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is committed to ensuring that every eligible family receives safe and dignified housing.

In Nawagaon (Pinkapar), a total of 138 houses have been sanctioned under this scheme. The event celebrated the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, whose joint efforts have made the dream of “housing for all” a reality for the underprivileged.

The program saw the presence of BJP Mandal Minister Ashok Markam, Janpad Member Rekha Gandharv, Sarpanch Mansharam Kanwar, Deputy Sarpanch Rakesh Kumar Dhankar, Panchayat Inspector Premanand Ramteke, Housing Officer Hemant Sahu, Panchayat Secretary Pawan Sahu, Awas Mitra Gayatri Sen, Rozgar Sahayak Rishiram Rame, and many local residents including Geeta Lal Yadav, Anup Sahare, Mukund Kanwar, Ramdev Chandravanshi, and others.
