Acting Collector and CEO Zila Panchayat urges parents to create school-like environment at home

A Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting was successfully held today at the Primary, High, and Higher Secondary Schools in Sitagaon village, located in the Manpur block. The event witnessed the participation of Acting Collector and CEO of Zila Panchayat, Mrs. Chandrakar, who addressed both parents and teachers on the importance of educational partnership and child development.
In her address, Mrs. Chandrakar praised the initiative, calling it a commendable effort by the government to bridge the communication gap between parents and educators. “Through direct dialogue, parents and teachers can work together to ensure better educational outcomes,” she said.
She highlighted that such meetings provide a platform for parents to express concerns, seek clarity regarding their children’s education, and understand school-related issues directly from teachers. “The Parent-Teacher Mega Meeting is an excellent opportunity to assess children’s academic progress and for parents to get insights into their educational journey,” she noted.
Mrs. Chandrakar urged parents to actively participate in their children’s learning process and emphasized that home should mirror a school-like environment to foster better interest and discipline in studies. “For the holistic development of children, inspiration must come not only from the school but also from the home environment,” she stated.

She further stressed the need for continuous motivation from parents and reiterated that a supportive home atmosphere plays a critical role in shaping a child’s academic and emotional growth.
The meeting concluded with mutual discussions between parents and teachers, aiming to strengthen the educational foundation of students in rural areas through collective responsibility.
