In a prompt and commendable operation, the Rajnandgaon Traffic Police successfully recovered a bag containing valuable items that a passenger had accidentally left behind in an e-rickshaw. The recovery was made possible through the use of CCTV surveillance and the vehicle’s unique identification number.

According to official information, Vandana Sahare, wife of Vinod Sahare and a resident of Barga in Rajnandgaon district, had travelled by e-rickshaw from Barga Chowk to the Railway Station. While alighting, she inadvertently left her bag inside the vehicle, which drove away shortly thereafter.

Upon realizing the loss, the passenger immediately approached the Traffic Branch of Rajnandgaon Police. Acting swiftly, traffic personnel examined footage from CCTV cameras installed at the control room and identified the e-rickshaw using its displayed unique number (197) and registration number CG 08 S 0691.
