Kanwar Community Organizes Mass Ideal Wedding Ceremony

The Kanwar community successfully hosted a grand mass wedding ceremony in the village of Telinbadha, where five couples were united in marriage following traditional customs. The event was honored by the presence of District Panchayat President Smt. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav as the chief guest, while Janpad Panchayat Chhuria President Shri Sanjay Sinha presided over the ceremony.

The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed with floral garlands and traditional music. The celebrations commenced with a special prayer at the Lord Shiva temple, followed by best wishes and blessings extended to the newlywed couples.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Smt. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav highlighted the growing financial strain that extravagant weddings impose on lower and middle-class families. She commended the Kanwar community for setting an exemplary precedent through their collective wedding initiative and encouraged other communities to adopt similar practices. She further emphasized that such events not only ease financial burdens but also help in preserving cultural heritage.

Janpad Panchayat President Shri Sanjay Sinha also addressed the audience, appreciating the initiative of the Kanwar community in organizing a mass wedding that alleviates the heavy expenses associated with marriage ceremonies. He noted that such efforts foster social unity and strengthen communal bonds.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities, including Janpad members Smt. Radhika Kanwar and Smt. Uttara Nishad, Village Sarpanch Smt. Gayatri Bai, former Janpad member Smt. Duleshwari Chandravanshi, Shri Dharmveer Chandravanshi, Shri Pitambar Kanwar, Shri Govind Kanwar, Shri Sarju Kanwar, Shri Anil Kanwar, Shri Jharu Kanwar, Shri Sakil Kanwar, Shri Harish Kanwar, Shri Ramanand Chandravanshi, Shri Devkumar Chandravanshi, Smt. Malti Bai Kanwar, and Smt. Indriya Bai Kanwar, along with many villagers and wedding attendees.

The Kanwar community’s mass wedding program set a strong example of social responsibility and collective effort, reinforcing the value of shared cultural heritage while easing financial burdens on families.
