Addressing players, organisers, and spectators, Dr Singh congratulated Rudraksham Welfare Society for successfully organising the tournament continuously for five years. He said the Chhattisgarh Hockey League has carved out a distinct identity by being increasingly grand, disciplined, and purpose-driven.

“Hockey holds a proud and historic place in Rajnandgaon’s sporting tradition. The soil of this city carries the seed of hockey within it,” Dr Singh remarked. He added that the tournament marked the sowing of that seed, which would soon bear fruit in the form of players representing Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, and the nation at national and international levels.
