On the sacred occasion of Ram Navami, a magnificent Shobha Yatra (religious procession) was organized in the city of Rajnandgaon. The event saw the active participation of Honorable Member of Parliament Shri Santosh Pandey, who paid obeisance to Lord Ram and prayed for the well-being, peace, and prosperity of the residents.
The procession began from Mahaveer Chowk and passed through various prominent city routes before returning to its starting point. Along the way, devotional hymns, bhajans, and kirtans added spiritual fervor to the atmosphere. A highlight of the event was the beautifully decorated tableau depicting scenes from the life of Lord Ram, drawing admiration from hundreds of devotees who joined the procession with great enthusiasm.
The event concluded with the distribution of prasadi (sacred offerings) at Mahaveer Chowk.
The procession saw participation from public representatives, social workers, respected citizens, youth, women, and elders, reflecting the city’s united devotion and festive spirit.
