Grand Inauguration of Bastar Olympic Games By Amit Shah:

The Bastar Olympic Games were inaugurated with great grandeur in the historic and culturally rich Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. The occasion not only provided a platform for sporting talent but also conveyed a strong message marking the beginning of a new chapter of peace, trust, and development in Bastar.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the event as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, former Chief Minister and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh, along with several ministers, public representatives, and senior administrative officials of the state.

In his address, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that events like the Bastar Olympics guide the youth in a positive direction while strengthening social unity and integration with the national mainstream. He emphasized that sports inculcate discipline, self-confidence, and leadership qualities, which play a vital role in nation-building.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai described the Bastar Olympics as a historic opportunity for the youth of Chhattisgarh. He stated that the state government is committed to promoting sports as a means to bring the talent of tribal regions to the national level, and that Bastar is now establishing new dimensions of identity.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh also shared his experiences. About an hour after the event, he expressed his views on the Bastar Olympics through social media. In his tweet, he termed the event inspiring and said that this initiative is a strong step towards establishing a positive image of Bastar across the country. He praised the enthusiasm of the youth, the spirit of sportsmanship, and the overall organization of the event.

A large number of local youths are participating in the Bastar Olympics. Competitions in various sports disciplines are being organized, in which players from rural and tribal areas are showcasing their talent.

Overall, the Bastar Olympics has emerged not merely as a sporting event, but as a symbol of a new Bastar—defined by identity, self-confidence, and a bright future.
