In a significant push toward inclusive development and citizen-focused governance, a large-scale grievance redressal camp was organized today in Aundhi village of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district under the ongoing Good Governance Festival 2025 (Su-Shasan Tihar). The district, formed just two years ago and comprising largely tribal and remote areas, witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers as 1,864 applications were successfully resolved on the spot.

The camp brought the administration directly to the people’s doorstep, embodying the true spirit of transparent and accountable governance. Officials from various departments addressed public grievances, distributed certificates, and provided benefits under different welfare schemes. The atmosphere was one of hope and satisfaction as residents from cluster villages took part in this rare opportunity to engage directly with the government machinery.
MP Santosh Pandey, who attended the event, lauded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for declaring the district as an “aspirational district”, enabling faster and focused developmental initiatives. He remarked, “Su-Shasan Tihar is a transformational step in resolving people’s issues swiftly. We are ensuring that government services reach the last mile.”

In a major announcement during the camp, MP Pandey approved ₹5 lakh for the construction of a cultural stage at the village’s Devgudi site and an additional ₹5 lakh for a community hall, acting promptly on a request made by the local sarpanch.
Adding further significance to the day, a newly constructed Pre-Matric Girls’ Tribal Hostel in Navagaon village, built by the Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department, was formally inaugurated by MP Pandey.
Addressing the gathering, District Panchayat President Namrata Singh highlighted the success of the festival in fulfilling the aspirations of rural citizens. “Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership has turned Su-Shasan Tihar into a bridge between the people and the administration,” she said, adding that such programs have increased public trust in government mechanisms.
District Collector Tulika Prajapati inspected the camp’s functioning and directed departmental officials to ensure quality disposal of applications and services. “Swift and sincere redressal of public demands is key to good governance,” she emphasized.

The event also saw the participation of several public representatives and administrative heads, including District Panchayat Vice President Bhojesh Shah, Janpad President Pushpa Bai Mandavi, SDM Amit Nath Yogi, CEO Hanish Mohammad, and SP Yashpal Singh.
The Good Governance Festival has emerged as a practical, result-oriented initiative, empowering citizens, building trust, and accelerating grassroots development in newly formed and remote districts like Mohla.
