Marking the occasion of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, a significant step in the field of education was taken in Rajnandgaon on Thursday. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh inaugurated the Free Online JEE-NEET Coaching Program for students across the district at the Higher Secondary School in Somni village.
As part of the initiative launched by the district administration, 11 coaching centers will provide free preparation facilities, directly benefiting over 648 students from Classes 11 and 12. Along with this, Dr. Singh also inaugurated smart boards in 18 high and higher secondary schools under the Rajnandgaon Assembly constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Singh said that the program will connect students with subject experts from reputed institutes, enabling them to prepare for national-level competitive exams without having to travel to cities like Raipur, Durg, or Bhilai. “This coaching is a golden opportunity for students who cannot afford expensive private institutes. It will help them prepare for medical and engineering entrance exams right from their schools and homes,” he said.
Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey hailed the initiative as a transformational step in education. Calling it “Vidya Daan,” he urged parents to encourage more students to join the program so that maximum children can benefit.
Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure explained that a two-year preparation program has been designed for Class 11 and 12 students, with a target of enrolling over 700 participants. The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Physics Wallah Coaching Institute, Bhilai and the Bhilai Education Charitable Trust.
