On the eve of Karwa Chauth, Burhanpur came alive with festive cheer as women from across the city gathered to celebrate the occasion with devotion and delight. Leading the celebration was Neha Chauhan, a spirited organizer who, along with her friends, hosted a grand pre-Karwa Chauth event that blended cultural elegance with heartfelt traditions.

Before her marriage, Neha Chauhan worked in event management in Mumbai, and she brought that creative experience to the celebration — designing an event that was as graceful as it was joyous. The evening was filled with music, laughter, and applause as women exchanged warm greetings and shared stories of faith and togetherness.

Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, the participants reflected the true essence of the festival — observing the Karwa Chauth vrat for the long life and prosperity of their husbands. Neha Chauhan said the event aimed to honor the spirit of womanhood and the enduring cultural legacy that Karwa Chauth represents.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from women including Prachi Maheshwari, Pooja Shah, Soumya Purohit, Oshin Jain, Neha Agrawal, Subhi Saraf, Radhika Palood, Rashmita Maheshwari, Meher Keer, Pragya Sisodia, Jaya Maheshwari, and Manmeet Keer, among others, who made the event a resounding success.
