Dr. Raman Singh Secures ₹7.43 Crore for 117 Infrastructure Projects

Efforts lead to approval of community halls, roads, drains, and rural development works across multiple villages

Former Chief Minister and current Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, has once again demonstrated his commitment to regional development by securing a major financial boost for Rajnandgaon. His proactive engagement with state authorities resulted in the sanctioning of ₹7.43 crore for 117 essential infrastructure works.

The approval was granted by Revenue Minister Tankram Verma and includes a wide range of rural development projects — such as the construction of CC roads, drainage systems, sheds, community halls, irrigation structures like dams, and open spaces (aahatas) in multiple villages under the Rajnandgaon constituency.

According to information released by the BJP media cell, the funding approval has sparked widespread appreciation and joy among the local population. Many residents and political leaders expressed their gratitude towards Dr. Raman Singh and Revenue Minister Verma for addressing longstanding infrastructural needs.

Prominent figures who extended their thanks include BJP district leaders such as Santosh Agrawal, Khubchand Parkh, Sachin Baghel, Neelu Sharma, Bharat Verma, Ramji Bharti, District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput, District Panchayat Chairperson Kiran Vaishnav, BJP General Secretary Saurav Kothari, Ravindra Vaishnav, Rajendra Golcha, Liladhar Sahu, Rohit Chandrakar, Manoj Sahu, Khileshwar Sahu, Krishna Tiwari, Tarun Lehrawani, Atul Raizada, Sumit Bhatia, Golu Gupta, and Abha Tiwari, among others.
