In a proud moment for the town of Dongargarh, Sujal Verma, a talented student from PM SHRI School, has been selected for the prestigious YUVIKA 2025 (Young Scientist Programme) organized by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Sujal’s achievement has not only brought honor to his family but also positioned Dongargarh prominently on the national scientific map.

Sujal Verma, a resident of Ward No. 5, Indira Nagar, Dongargarh, and son of Prabha Verma and Balaram Verma, has been selected to participate in ISRO’s YUVIKA 2025. The program is designed to cultivate young scientific minds and encourage school students to explore careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields through early exposure to space science and technology.

Sujal’s outstanding academic record and co-curricular activities made him a strong contender. He scored 94% in class 8, secured 85% in the online quiz, and has twice represented his state at national-level rope-skipping competitions. Additionally, he has participated at the national level in the SINCE science exhibition.

Former BJP city secretary Vivek Monu Bhandari personally visited Sujal’s home to congratulate him and engaged in an in-depth conversation about the young prodigy’s journey. Impressed by Sujal’s clarity and dedication, Bhandari facilitated a phone call with Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey and Rajnandgaon Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, who both conveyed their heartfelt congratulations.

MP Pandey remarked, “It is a matter of immense pride for Rajnandgaon district and Dongargarh city that one of our own has been selected for such a prestigious national-level program by ISRO. Sujal’s achievement will inspire many.” Mayor Yadav added that they look forward to personally meeting and honoring Sujal soon.

Several other community members and leaders, including Shreyas Bhaiyaji, Chaman Samudre, Vikas Sahare, Satyam Swami, and Tarun Varkade, also extended their wishes, applauding Sujal for setting a glowing example for young students.

This achievement has not only illuminated Sujal’s future path but also ignited hope and inspiration among many young learners in Dongargarh and beyond.
