Located about 25 kilometers from the district headquarters, near Gram Panchayat Pidhapal in Kanker block, Dharparoom is nestled amidst lush green hills. The site offers a unique blend of natural charm and cultural heritage, making it a favorite among nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

Currently, the management and operation of Dharparoom are being carried out by local villagers through community participation. Tourists are increasingly drawn to the area, impressed by its untouched beauty and the hospitality of local communities.

District Collector Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Kshirsagar and Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Haresh Mandavi, recently visited Dharparoom to review its potential.
