New Star Singhola finishes runners-up as Neelu Sharma Fans Club successfully hosts RPL Season 2

The CJ Rajnandgaon Premier League (RPL) Season 2, organised under the banner of the Neelu Sharma Fans Club, concluded with a grand and high-spirited final match that showcased exceptional talent and competitive cricket. The final encounter drew a large crowd of sports enthusiasts and delivered an entertaining display of skill and teamwork.
In the much-anticipated final, CRS Sonkar Rajnandgaon delivered an impressive performance to clinch the championship title, while New Star Singhola Rajnandgaon finished as the runners-up after a commendable effort.
The final match was graced by the presence of several prominent dignitaries from the city. The programme was presided over by Mr. Neelu Sharma, Chairman of the Tourism Board with Cabinet Minister status. Rajnandgaon Mayor Mr. Madhusudan Yadav attended the event as the chief guest.
Among other notable attendees were District BJP President Rajnandgaon Mr. Komal Singh Rajput, Mohla–Manpur–Chauki BJP President Mr. Dilip Verma, senior BJP leaders Mr. Suresh H. Lal, Mr. Ramesh Patel and Mr. Rajendra Golchha, Dongargaon Municipal Council President Mrs. Anju Tripathi, and Vice President Mr. Rohit Gupta.
The event was further dignified by the presence of BJP leaders Mr. Manish Sahu, Mr. Rajesh Shyamkar, Mr. Dikesh Sahu, Mr. Prakash Singh Thakur, Mr. Rishidev Chaudhary, Mr. Anshu Bagga, Mr. Raju Daga, Mahakal devotee Mr. Pawan Daga, and Corporator Mrs. Varsha Sharad Sinha.

Addressing the gathering, the guests congratulated the players for their spirited performances and lauded the organisers for promoting sports culture among youth. They described such tournaments as inspirational platforms that encourage discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition.
On behalf of the organising committee, Mr. Deepak Chauhan, Mr. Narendra Hansa, Mr. Sanju Baghel (Corporator), Mr. Dheeraj Hansa, Mr. Ramesh Sagarvanshi, Mr. Ravi Ransure, Mr. Yuvraj Sinha, Mr. Deepak Sinha, and Mr. Prahlad Sinha expressed their commitment to organising similar sporting events in the future, aiming to nurture local talent and strengthen the city’s sporting ecosystem.
