In a significant organisational move, the Rajnandgaon District Congress Committee has announced three important appointments following the decisive recommendation of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee president Deepak Baij.
The changes are being viewed as part of a strategic effort to reinvigorate the district unit and prepare the party for future political challenges.

Acting on the guidance of the state leadership, District Congress President Vipin Yadav made the appointments with immediate effect. Rahul Tiwari has been named District Congress Office In-charge General Secretary, Pankaj Bandhav has been appointed District Congress Committee General Secretary, while Anis Khan has taken charge as District Congress Spokesperson and Media In-charge for Rajnandgaon.

Political observers believe the reshuffle goes beyond routine adjustments and reflects a move toward clearly defined responsibilities and greater accountability within the organisation. In particular, the appointment of Anis Khan as media in-charge is being seen as an effort to strengthen the Congress party’s communication strategy at the district level.
Speaking on the occasion, District President Vipin Yadav said the decisions were taken in line with the visionary leadership and grassroots-oriented approach of PCC President Deepak Baij. He indicated that further expansion of the district executive would follow after consultations with senior leaders and recommendations from the state leadership.

Yadav also emphasised that committed, hardworking and ground-level workers would be entrusted with responsibilities to make the Congress organisation more active and united in raising public issues.
Overall, the organisational restructuring in Rajnandgaon is expected to have a direct impact on the party’s political activity, public outreach and electoral preparedness in the coming months.
