Collector Tulika Prajapati Reviews Preparations for Excise Constable Recruitment Exam in Mohla District

Strict Instructions Issued for Fair, Transparent and Peaceful Conduct; 2,913 Candidates to Appear Across 10 Exam Centres

District Collector Tulika Prajapati convened a strategic review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to finalize logistical and security arrangements for the upcoming Excise Constable Recruitment Exam 2025, organized by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam). With 2,913 candidates set to appear at ten exam centres in the Mohla–Manpur–Ambagarh Chowki area, officials were instructed to uphold fairness, strict protocols, and smooth oversight throughout the examination process.

The Collector emphasized strict adherence to CG Vyapam guidelines by all aspirants, warning that non-compliance could lead to disqualification. She underscored that maintaining transparency, integrity, and impartiality is paramount. Officers and staff were directed to perform with utmost dedication during the exam period.

Attending the meeting were CEO District Panchayat Bharti Chandrakar, Additional Collector Vijendra Singh Patle, SDM Hemendra Bhuary, Deputy Collector Dukalu Ram Dhruv, and other relevant departmental officials.

Candidate Instructions & Exam Protocol:
Candidates have been instructed to arrive at least two hours before the exam start time to complete frisking and identification processes. Exam centres will be closed 30 minutes before commencement. Aspirants are advised to wear light-coloured, half-sleeve clothing and simple sandals; wearing earrings or any jewellery is prohibited. Carrying items such as mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, purses, pouches, scarves, belts, or caps is strictly forbidden. Any use of unfair means will lead to immediate action and resultant disqualification.

Exam Centres & Participation:
Ten exam centres have been designated for the exercise — including Swami Atmanand English Medium Higher Secondary School Mohla, Lal Shyam Shah Government College Mohla, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mohla, multiple centres in Ambagarh Chowki, and institutions in Manpur and Rengakhera. A total of 2,913 candidates are expected to participate in the written examination. Security arrangements, frisking protocols, and other facilities have been finalized to ensure smooth conduct across all centres.

CG Vyapam Exam Context:
The Excise Constable test (Advertisement code ABA25) will be held on July 27, 2025, as a part of a recruitment cycle aiming to fill 200 vacancies in the Excise Department. Admit cards were released on July 21 and are required along with valid photo ID for entry. The selection process comprises a written examination followed by physical and document verification stages
