Directions issued for seating, parking, cultural programmes, tableaux and smooth conduct of January 26 celebrations

With Republic Day celebrations approaching, Rajnandgaon Collector Shri Jitendra Yadav on Wednesday inspected the ongoing preparations at Digvijay Stadium to ensure a dignified and well-organised ceremony on January 26.
During the inspection, the Collector reviewed arrangements at the flag hoisting venue and stressed that all departments must ensure comprehensive preparations for the successful conduct of the Republic Day समारोह. He issued necessary directions regarding seating arrangements, vehicle parking, cultural programmes, tableaux presentations and other logistical aspects to ensure smooth coordination on the day of the event.

The Collector also took stock of essential facilities including drinking water arrangements, sound systems, stage management and decorative preparations. He assigned specific responsibilities to officers for the effective execution of the programme and emphasised timely coordination among departments.
Highlighting the importance of showcasing governance initiatives, Shri Yadav directed concerned departments to prepare tableaux based on flagship government schemes and innovative initiatives. He instructed officials to ensure high-quality presentations that reflect public welfare and development-oriented work.
The Collector further directed officials to make systematic arrangements for the distribution of commendation certificates and awards to officers and employees for outstanding performance, to be presented during the Republic Day ceremony.
Senior officials present during the inspection included Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Ms Suruchi Singh, Additional Collector Mr Prem Prakash Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr Pushpendra Nayak, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr Atul Vishwakarma, Additional District Magistrate Mr Gautam Patil, along with other concerned officers.
