Pending grievance cases reviewed; focus on board exam preparedness, smooth paddy procurement and beneficiary outreach under key central schemes

Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav on Wednesday chaired the weekly time-limit meeting at the Collectorate conference hall, stressing the need for regular field visits by officers to ensure effective ground-level implementation of government welfare schemes.
During the meeting, the Collector conducted a detailed review of pending cases under Chief Minister Jandarshan, PG Portal, PGN and Collector Jandarshan, directing concerned departments to ensure speedy disposal of grievances.
With board examinations approaching, Yadav emphasised the importance of proper academic preparation for students and called for continuous guidance to achieve better results. He instructed officials to focus particularly on Mathematics, English and Science, and encouraged maximum registration for NEET online coaching.
Addressing agricultural matters, the Collector said farmers should not face any inconvenience during the remaining days of paddy procurement. He directed officials to ensure proper token distribution and adequate arrangements for smooth procurement operations. He also instructed departments to accelerate the lifting of procured paddy and to carry out regular data entry, physical verification and inspections.

Yadav further directed all construction agencies to complete tender processes on time and ensure projects are finished within stipulated deadlines. He also asked officials to maximise beneficiary coverage under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
Reiterating the importance of field-level monitoring, the Collector instructed officers to personally visit implementation sites of welfare schemes. He also directed officials to facilitate Kisan Credit Cards for farmers engaged in fisheries and link them with other government schemes.
Highlighting the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana as a key social welfare initiative, Yadav called for increased public awareness to ensure wider beneficiary participation. He also instructed strict challan action against traffic rule violators and urged officials to promote helmet usage and road safety awareness among the general public.
On illegal sand mining, the Collector directed authorities to conduct prompt investigations upon receiving complaints.
Additional Collectors C.L. Markandey and Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, and other senior officials were present at the meeting, while all SDMs and Tehsildars joined via video conferencing.
