Accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, the Collector directed that special attention be paid to daily drain and street cleaning, particularly in crowded market zones. “During the festive season, footfall in the markets increases significantly. Hence, cleanliness drives should start early in the morning,” he emphasized.

Yadav also directed officials to educate residents against littering and to take strict action against those dumping debris or garbage on streets. He urged citizens to refrain from using banned plastic and to actively support the city’s Swachhata mission.

The Swachhata Didis were told to motivate residents to segregate wet and dry waste at the source.

Later, Yadav visited Ranisagar and Budhasagar lakes, directing officials to clear debris from the banks and prepare a beautification plan for the area. He also advised residents feeding stray cattle to use containers and to clean the surroundings afterward.
