He directed continuous monitoring of high-risk pregnant women and instructed health workers to ensure timely hospitalization when required. Through Mitanins (community health workers), he ordered regular ANC (antenatal care) check-ups, treatment, monitoring and proper counselling of pregnant women and their families to reduce infant mortality rates.

The Collector stressed the importance of awareness regarding necessary precautions during pregnancy, proper nutrition, weight gain, and prescribed medicines. He also directed that after delivery, both mother and newborn must remain under medical supervision in government or private hospitals for at least three days.

Highlighting the need for sensitivity, he urged officials to assist needy individuals compassionately and ensure access to government health schemes. He instructed the Health and AYUSH departments to run coordinated campaigns promoting lifestyle changes to prevent diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
