Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure has emphasized that public health must remain the highest priority for the district administration. Addressing the weekly time-limit review meeting, he instructed officials to ensure accessible healthcare for all citizens while issuing stern directives for strict monitoring of private nursing homes.

Dr. Bhure announced that on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, a free mega health camp will be organized at the Government Medical College. He directed officers to make thorough preparations for the camp, which will provide free health services to the public.

Highlighting compliance issues, the Collector ordered an intensive inspection of all private nursing homes, instructing authorities to ensure strict adherence to the Nursing Home Act. Non-compliant facilities will face stringent action, he warned.

During the meeting, Dr. Bhure also reviewed petitions received through the Collector Jan Darshan program, directing officials to resolve cases within the stipulated time. He stressed prioritizing citizen applications and ensuring beneficiaries avail maximum benefits from government schemes.

The Collector further directed revenue officers to expedite pending cases, including land partition, disputed and undisputed name transfers, and error corrections. Special instructions were issued to hold village-level camps to accelerate the issuance of income, caste, and residence certificates, including door-to-door surveys to ensure all eligible students receive the necessary documents.

Dr. Bhure also reviewed the progress of digital crop surveys, urging SDMs to speed up both online and offline girdawari processes. He called for greater public outreach under the PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme, the Swamitva Yojana, land distribution cases, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM SVANidhi Yojana, and the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme, ensuring benefits reach farmers engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry, and fisheries.

He instructed departments to regularly upload progress and achievements on the Atal Monitoring Portal, aligning with the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee celebrations, which require showcasing 25 years of departmental achievements.

Meanwhile, CEO Zila Panchayat Suruchi Singh announced that under the Dharti Aba Tribal Village Utkarsh Yojana, special Adikarmayogi Abhiyan camps will be organized in gram panchayats until October 2. These camps aim to maximize benefits of state and central welfare schemes for tribal citizens, with officials receiving dedicated training for the initiative.

The meeting was attended by Additional Collectors C.L. Markandeya and Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, SDM Rajnandgaon Khem Lal Verma, SDM Dongargarh M. Bhargava, SDM Dongargaon Shrikant Korram, and other senior officers.
