Collector Directs Departments to Excel on Atal Monitoring Portal; Stresses Strict Action Against Illegal Paddy Trade

Collector Jitendra Yadav chaired the weekly time-limit meeting at the Collectorate today, issuing a series of directives to ensure efficient implementation of government schemes across the district. He emphasized that all departments must deliver excellent performance on the Atal Monitoring Portal by adhering to the prescribed parameters set by the state government. While appreciating ongoing progress, he noted that further improvement is essential. Departments were instructed to complete timely data entry on the portal and maintain accuracy.

Reviewing key indicators, Collector Yadav informed that 90% of Ayapar (APAR) ID creation has already been completed. He reviewed the status of Aadhaar Mandatory Biometric Update and stressed the effective implementation of the PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, urging officials to encourage maximum participation in both rural and urban areas. Highlighting the scheme’s benefit of zero electricity bills, he asked officials to motivate residents of various colonies to enroll.

Under the PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM-FME) Scheme, the Collector directed officials to facilitate loans and support to women self-help groups, enabling them to become economically stronger. He also instructed departments to ensure beneficiary coverage and training under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

Further reviewing other indicators such as Solar Sujala Yojana (irrigation pumps), Forest Rights Act pattas, PM Employment Generation Programme, Khelo India, Skill Development, and other welfare schemes, he asked departments to accelerate progress.

On paddy procurement, Collector Yadav issued strict instructions to revenue officials to intensify monitoring against illegal paddy buying. He directed that action must be taken against middlemen and agents, particularly in interstate border areas, to curb unauthorized transportation. He also emphasized seizing illegally transported paddy.

Speaking on the Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2026, he instructed the teams to increase the pace of work, acknowledging that digitization progress in the district is satisfactory. He reviewed the health situation in Kaurinbhatha in view of reported jaundice cases, instructing the Chief Medical and Health Officer to ensure proper treatment and monitoring.

During the review of revenue matters, he ordered all undisputed cases to be resolved promptly. Instructions were given to clear all pending cases under Jan Darshan, PGN, and PG Portal within the stipulated timeframe. He also reviewed progress under MNREGA, Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, and actions taken against illegal liquor trade, along with other government programmes.

CEO Zila Panchayat Sruuchi Singh highlighted the need to encourage farmers to adopt crop diversification. She also discussed the ongoing implementation of the Aadi Karmayogi Yojana and reviewed updates related to GST.

The meeting was attended by DFO Ayush Jain, Additional Collector Premprakash Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, and other district-level officers.
