In a significant initiative aimed at legal literacy and student empowerment, Civil Judge Shri Parth Dubey visited the prestigious Gayatri Vidyapeeth in Rajnandgaon, addressing students from classes 9 to 12 on vital legal topics.
According to Mrs. Usha Jha, Head of the Hindi Department at the school, Judge Dubey offered detailed explanations on various laws related to personal safety, their practical applications, and how legal mechanisms can assist individuals in resolving issues. The session also included an interactive Q&A, where students asked real-life queries and received insightful solutions.
Adding to the significance of the session, Sub-Inspector Mrs. Sharda Banjare, along with Constables Meenakshi Ahir and Kaushalya Sahu, introduced the students to the Abhivyakti mobile application—an initiative focused on ensuring safety and swift communication for women in distress. The officers demonstrated how to use the app effectively and discussed practical tips for students, especially girls, to stay safe and respond confidently to harassment or threats.
The event saw the enthusiastic involvement and support of the Gayatri Shikshan Samiti. Key figures such as President Shri Brijkishore Surjan, Vice President Shri Rajesh Jain, Mrs. Sandhyadevi Singhal, Secretary Shri Gagan Laddha, Joint Secretary Shri Nikunj Singhal, Chief Trustee Shri Suryakant Chitlangya, and Patron Shri Nandkishore Surjan extended their best wishes.
Also present were Mrs. Sushma Surjan, Cultural In-Charge Shri Harish Gandhi, Mrs. Rupali Gandhi, Academic Director Shri Amit Uttalwar, Administrator Shri Anil Bajpai, Principal Mrs. Shailaja Nair, Mrs. Pinky Khandelwal, Vice Principal Mrs. Rashmi Thakur, Mrs. Vandana Dumbhare, School Manager Mr. Taranjeet Singh Tuteja, along with the entire teaching staff, all of whom praised the session as a meaningful step toward student awareness and safety.
