Over 85,000 Schoolchildren Witness Cultural Heritage and Development Milestones through Screening

As part of the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee celebrations, marking 25 years of the state’s formation, a Chhattisgarhi Film Festival was organized across the district under the guidance of Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure.

Government school students enthusiastically watched special video screenings depicting Chhattisgarh’s 25-year developmental journey, its cultural heritage, and the significant welfare initiatives undertaken by the state government. The films highlighted the achievements that have given Chhattisgarh a distinct identity on the national stage.

Students from primary, middle, high school, and higher secondary schools across Rajnandgaon district participated with keen interest. According to official data, 21,828 students from 349 schools in Dongargarh block, 34,033 students from 395 schools in Rajnandgaon block, and 29,493 students from 26 schools in Chhuria block took part in the festival.

Through this initiative, schoolchildren not only connected with the rich culture of Chhattisgarh but also gained awareness of the developmental strides made by the state in the past two and a half decades.
