BJP Committed to the Holistic Development of Ghumka: Kiran Verma

Municipal Council Chairperson candidate launches intensive public outreach campaign across multiple wards, seeks support for development-focused governance

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday launched an intensive public outreach campaign for the Ghumka Nagar Panchayat elections across Wards 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8.

Municipal Council Chairperson candidate Kiran Verma, along with party candidates, interacted with voters and participated in a series of corner meetings as part of the campaign.

Focus on Development and Infrastructure

Addressing residents during the outreach programme, Kiran Verma said that the BJP has strong governments both at the Centre and in the state, and electing BJP representatives in the Nagar Panchayat would help ensure comprehensive development of the region.

She stated that important infrastructure projects, including improved road connectivity, transportation facilities, irrigation resources for farmers, water availability, and employment opportunities for workers, could be effectively implemented under BJP governance.

Appeal for Public Support

Seeking the support of voters, Kiran Verma expressed confidence that the people of Ghumka would provide her an opportunity to serve.

She said her priority would be to simplify public services and address the concerns of local residents. Verma further stated that she is committed to dedicating her full efforts toward the development and progress of Ghumka.

Senior BJP Leaders Participate in Campaign

Several BJP leaders and office-bearers participated in the campaign, including BJP Mahila Morcha District President Pushpa Gaikwad, Dongargaon Nagar Panchayat President Anju Tripathi, Purnima Sahu, Anita Mishra, and Renu Suryavanshi.

Councillors from Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation, including Ravi Sinha, Sawan Verma, Raja Makhija, Rajesh Yadav, Shekhar Yadav, Lokesh Jain, Ranu Jain, Jainam Ved, Sharad Sinha, Duleshwar Sahu, Satish Sahu, Arun Sahu, and other party workers, were also present.

Strong Organizational Presence

The campaign was attended by Ghumka BJP Mandal President Narendra Verma, General Secretaries Lalit Sahu and Janak Sahu, along with Devendra Baghel, Shailendra Verma, Roopnarayan Sahu, Govind Yadav, Nohendra Sinha, and ward-level in-charges and co-in-charges.

Party leaders said the campaign would continue across different wards in the run-up to the municipal elections, with a focus on directly engaging voters and highlighting the BJP’s development agenda for Ghumka.
