BJP Stages Protest Against Congress
Under the joint aegis of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) District Rajnandgaon and BJP Mahila Morcha, an effigy of the Congress party was burned today in front of Digvijay College. The protest was organized against the opposition shown by Congress to the Nari Shakti Vandan Act in Parliament.
A large number of BJYM and Mahila Morcha workers participated in the demonstration. During the protest, slogans were raised strongly against the Congress party and opposition leaders.
BJYM Leaders Criticize Congress Stand
BJYM District President Chintu Sonkar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act was introduced to provide 33 percent reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies, ensuring their empowered participation in governance.
He alleged that the Congress party had once again exposed its anti-women mindset by opposing the legislation. According to him, Congress never wants women to move forward and assume leadership roles. He further stated that the party has historically treated women merely as a vote bank and denied them their rightful opportunities. The Act, he said, was a historic step towards transforming women’s lives, and attempts to oppose it have angered women across the country.

Mahila Morcha Highlights Women Empowerment Initiatives
BJP Mahila Morcha District President Pushpa Gaikwad stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party has always remained committed to women’s dignity, safety, and rights. She said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, several schemes have been launched to promote women’s empowerment across sectors.
She added that women today are excelling in education, healthcare, defence, and various other fields, bringing pride to the nation. According to her, the anti-women stance of Congress and its allies has now been exposed before the public, and women voters will respond strongly in the future.
Strong Public Participation and Expression of Anger
During the effigy-burning programme, women participants expressed strong resentment against Congress through loud slogans and demonstrations. Workers pledged to continue their struggle for the protection of women’s dignity and rights.

Key participants in the programme included Mithleshvari Vaishnav, BJYM District General Secretary Ashutosh Singh Rajput, Vice Presidents Parul Jain, Meena Yadav, Neha Jain, Minister Sangeeta Mishra, Suhasini Shirsagar, Minister Abha Shrivastava, North Mandal President Shail Yadav, South Mandal President Madhu Baid, Musra Murmunda President Rameshwari Verma, BJYM President Nikita Shrirange, Mandal Co-Office Minister Prema Sonkar, Sandhya Verma, Shashi Sahare, Mangal Patwa, Namrata Mogar, Pampa Sinha, Vimmi Akhilesh Shrivastava, Shobha Sahu, Lakshmi Sahu, Aarti Verma, Madhu Sonwani, along with a large number of women and youth workers.
