He stated that the budget reflects a comprehensive vision aimed at improving civic infrastructure while addressing social and humanitarian concerns.
Strong Emphasis on Animal Welfare Initiatives
Baid appreciated the provisions made for animal welfare, including arrangements for vehicles dedicated to cattle management, establishment of shelter homes for stray and pet dogs, and development of feeding points.
According to him, these initiatives represent an important step toward better animal protection and systematic management within the city.
Boost to Youth and Sports Infrastructure
Highlighting youth-centric provisions, Baid termed the proposal for construction of cricket turf boxes and a café as one of the major achievements of the budget. He said these initiatives would encourage sports activities and provide modern recreational facilities for young residents.
Proposal for Women Haat Market Development
Baid urged authorities to develop the proposed women’s haat market at the already operational market located in Ward No. 37, Mahavir Ward. He noted that developing the market at this location would provide women with a ready and suitable platform for self-employment opportunities.

Civic and Social Infrastructure Praised
The councillor further appreciated the provision for establishing an electric crematorium at the Mukti Dham in Mathpara, stating that it aligns with the city’s social and environmental needs.
He also praised plans for renovation of temples and schemes focused on women’s welfare, describing them as commendable steps toward inclusive development.
Expressing gratitude to Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey, and Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Baid said the budget clearly reflects a long-term vision for the holistic development of Rajnandgaon city.
