Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh on Saturday paid homage to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee by inaugurating the newly built Atal Complex in Vardhman Nagar, Rajnandgaon. The project, constructed at a cost of ₹50 lakh, also features a life-size statue of the late statesman, unveiled by Dr. Singh during the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Singh described Vajpayee as a towering figure in Indian politics and a source of inspiration for the youth of both India and Chhattisgarh. “Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not only the architect of Chhattisgarh but also a poet, thinker, philosopher, patriot, and visionary leader whose political stature continued to grow on the world stage for over five decades,” Dr. Singh said.
