Speaker to Arrive in Rajnandgaon on Sunday

Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be on an official visit to Rajnandgaon district on June 7, 2026.

According to the scheduled programme, Dr. Singh will depart by car from Speaker House, Shankar Nagar, Raipur, at 10:00 a.m. and is scheduled to arrive at Speaker House, Rajnandgaon, at 11:30 a.m. Following his arrival, time has been reserved for official engagements.

Participation in Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana Programme

The Assembly Speaker will leave Speaker House, Rajnandgaon, at 12:15 p.m. and reach Padma Shri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Rajnandgaon, at 12:30 p.m.

He will participate in the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana programme being organized at the auditorium.

After the programme, Dr. Singh will depart from the venue at 1:30 p.m. and return to Speaker House, Rajnandgaon, at 1:45 p.m., where time has again been reserved for official engagements.

Scholarship Distribution for Children of Tendu Leaf Collectors

In the evening, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Assembly Speaker will attend a scholarship distribution programme for the children of tendu leaf collectors at Speaker House, Rajnandgaon.

The event is aimed at supporting educational opportunities for children belonging to families engaged in tendu leaf collection activities.

Return to Raipur in the Evening

After completing his scheduled engagements in Rajnandgaon, Dr. Raman Singh will depart from Speaker House, Rajnandgaon, at 7:00 p.m. and travel by road to Speaker House, Shankar Nagar, Raipur.

The visit will include participation in public welfare initiatives and interactions as part of his official district tour.
