Zila Panchayat President of Khujji Assembly Constituency, Mrs. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav, attended a commemorative program held in village Karethi on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Vaishnav emphasized the enduring relevance of Dr. Ambedkar’s principles and ideals in modern India. She stated, “The philosophies and vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar are foundational to the creation of a self-reliant and developed India. His life teaches us that through education and collective strength, any individual can contribute to transforming society.”

Highlighting Ambedkar’s impact on today’s youth, she said that his thoughts remain a powerful source of inspiration. “It is because of his ideals that India today is steadily moving towards realizing the dream of social justice with full dedication,” she remarked.

She also acknowledged the efforts of the current central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in honoring the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar. “The Modi government has preserved and given due respect to Baba Saheb’s legacy in a remarkable manner,” she added.

The program was marked by the presence of several community leaders and dignitaries including Janpad Panchayat Chhuriya member Ankat Chandrakar, village Sarpanch Kumari Bai Vaman, President of the Buddhist Society Omprakash Borkar, Manoj Lejhare, Ashok Ramteke, Chaman Kande, Anupama Bhanwar, Chitralekha Borkar, Sandhya Uke, Kiran Uke, Santosh Sahu, Uttam Karsi, Anil Khopragadhe, Anil Borkar, Virendra Uke, and Hiralal Dongre, among others.
