(A Reaction On Chhattisgarh Budget)

"We Built It, We Will Nurture It" – A Budget That Fulfills the Motto: Komal Singh Rajput

Rajnandgaon (BTI)- Reacting to the budget presented by Finance Minister OP Chaudhary during the Chhattisgarh Assembly’s budget session, Rajnandgaon BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput described it as a budget that embodies the party’s motto, “We built it, we will nurture it.”

Rajput stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh is progressing rapidly. He emphasized that the vision with which former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee established Chhattisgarh is now being realized, as the Sai government propels the state towards development. He remarked that today’s budget reflects how the government has pulled Chhattisgarh out of the stagnation caused by the Congress era and set it on a path of progress.

During the Congress rule, Rajnandgaon, along with the entire state, deviated from the path of development and became a hub of corruption. However, this budget has allocated crores for developmental projects, making it clear that “we built it, and we are the ones nurturing it.”

Rajput also highlighted the inclusion of the Nalanda Campus in the budget, which was earlier mentioned by former Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. He noted that this initiative will provide thousands of youth with free access to an e-library. Additionally, he welcomed the construction of a bridge in Dongargarh and the circumambulatory path around Maa Bamleshwari Temple. He further appreciated the efforts under the Chief Minister’s Urban Development Initiative, aimed at the separate development of Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation.

Rajnandgaon to Advance in Education, Healthcare, and Self-Reliance
Speaking on the budget, Komal Singh Rajput asserted that the government is actively working towards providing employment opportunities for the youth. He praised the Bastar Fighters unit for its efforts in eradicating Naxalism and noted that, keeping this in mind, the Vishnu Deo Sai government has allocated provisions for the recruitment of 3,200 additional fighters, which will benefit the youth of Bastar and Rajnandgaon.

Criticizing the previous Congress government, Rajput pointed out that not a single nursing college was established in the last five years. In contrast, the BJP government has announced the establishment of 12 new nursing colleges, including one more in the upcoming financial year. He also mentioned several educational initiatives proposed in the budget to enhance the education sector.

Finally, Komal Singh Rajput expressed his gratitude to Honorable Vishnu Deo Sai, Dr. Raman Singh, and OP Chaudhary for presenting a budget that prioritizes the all-round development of Rajnandgaon and Chhattisgarh.
