Under the Intensified Pulse Polio Campaign 2025, extensive arrangements have been made across both rural and urban areas of the district. In addition to villages, polio booths have been set up at bus stands and railway stations, while transit and mobile teams have been deployed to reach high-risk and mobile populations, including mines, brick kilns, hostels, madrasas, and other previously missed areas.
Health officials informed that after administering polio drops at fixed booths on the first day, house-to-house visits will be conducted on December 22 and 23, 2025, to ensure that no eligible child is left out of the immunisation drive.
The district administration has appealed to citizens to actively cooperate with health teams and contribute to the success of the campaign, reinforcing Rajnandgaon’s commitment to safeguarding child health and sustaining the country’s polio-free status.
