Preparations are in full swing across Rajnandgaon district as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) mobilizes workers ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Raipur on November 1, where he will inaugurate the new Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly building and participate in the State’s Silver Jubilee (25th Foundation Day) celebrations.
At a joint meeting of the BJP’s North and South Mandals held at the district party office, leaders resolved to ensure the participation of 10,000 party workers from Rajnandgaon in the historic state-level event.
Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput, and farmers’ leader Ashok Choudhary were the key speakers at the meeting. The leaders urged all party workers to conduct ward-level outreach and encourage maximum public participation in the event.
Mayor Yadav described the upcoming occasion as “a proud celebration of Chhattisgarh’s glorious journey,” while District President Rajput noted that Prime Minister Modi’s visit, at the invitation of Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, was “a moment of pride for the entire district.”

According to the BJP Media Cell, the meeting began with floral tributes to Bharat Mata and featured motivational addresses that filled the workers with enthusiasm. Meanwhile, meetings across rural mandals have also commenced. Senior leaders Khubchand Parakh and Ramesh Patel called upon grassroots workers to ensure strong representation from every village and block at the Raipur event.
District General Secretary Saurabh Kothari informed that coordinators have been appointed for all 16 mandals to oversee ongoing meetings and travel arrangements. “Our goal is to ensure at least 10,000 participants from Rajnandgaon attend the State Foundation Day celebration and witness this historic moment,” he said.
