Under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan-2025 has been launched in Rajnandgaon district, spanning from September 17 to October 2, with this year’s theme “Swachhotsav.” Guided by Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, special cleanliness drives and awareness activities are being conducted at village, gram panchayat, and janpad panchayat levels.

October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, is celebrated as Swachh Bharat Diwas, and since 2017, the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan has been organized annually to promote mass participation in cleanliness and to foster awareness about hygiene. This year’s campaign will feature a special event on September 25, when at 8 AM, citizens across the district will participate in “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath Shramdaan” (One Day, One Hour, Together for Cleanliness), ensuring maximum community involvement.
