Chhattisgarh BJP Recognizes Top Performers in Membership Drive; Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and State President Kiran Singh Deo Lead Felicitation

The Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a state-level membership award ceremony today at the Chief Minister’s residence, celebrating the tireless efforts of its cadres and leaders in expanding the party’s base across the state.
Presided over by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and State BJP President Kiran Singh Deo, the event saw participation from key state office-bearers including Regional Organization Secretary Ajay Jamwal, State General Secretary Pawan Sai, Ramoo Rohra, Ramji Bharti, and Bharat Verma.
The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of Speaker and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, who was awarded the ‘Sadasyata Ratna’ for enrolling more than 12,000 new members into the party during the membership drive.
According to District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput, the award categories were structured based on the number of new members added:
- ‘Sadasyata Ratna’ for 10,000+ members
- ‘Sadasyata Gaurav’ for 5,000+ members
- ‘Sadasyata Deep’ for 1,000+ members
- ‘Sadasyata Shri’ for other significant contributors

- Shanky Bagga (Chairman, State Health Department) – Sadasyata Shri Award
- Bharat Verma (State General Secretary), Neelu Sharma (Chairperson, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board), Geeta Ghasi Sahu (Former District Panchayat President), and Pardesi Ram Sonboir (President, Tilai Mandal) – Sadasyata Deep Award
The event was attended by a wide array of BJP functionaries, ministers, MLAs, MPs, and active karyakartas. From Rajnandgaon, District President Komal Singh Rajput, former district president Ramesh Patel, and membership campaign convener Sawan Verma played key roles and were seen sharing a meal with the Chief Minister and his cabinet.
The event reflects the party’s commitment not only to electoral success but also to recognizing and empowering its grassroots cadre, strengthening its position as the world’s largest political organization.
