The inspection team, comprising officers from the Food and Drug Administration, conducted surprise checks at key locations including the railway station, bus stand, and city garages—known entry points for goods arriving from other districts and states. During the operation, a range of dairy-based products including khoya, paneer, kunda, and sweets were seized for laboratory testing.

Samples were collected from several prominent city outlets. Legal samples of sponge, kadhi, curd, and barfi were seized from Raunak Enterprises. From Milan Sweets, samples of khoya were collected, while Moti Sweets was found in possession of 50 kilograms of kunda, which was confiscated and retained in the custody of the shop owner pending further legal action. Shanta Foods in Parrikala was also inspected, and paneer samples were taken for analysis.

During the inspection, significant hygiene deficiencies were observed at Milan Sweets, prompting officials to issue a directive requiring the shop to rectify conditions within three days.

Deputy Collector Mr. Amiya Srivastava, along with Food Safety Officer Mr. Domendra Dhruv and team members Mr. Bhushan Pratap Singh, Mr. Rupesh Kumar Janghel, Mr. Jitendra Sahu, and Mr. Lakshminarayan Sahu, were present during the operation.
