To maintain effective disease surveillance, the Collector emphasized regular reporting on the IHIP portal by all health workers. Government medical institutions and AIIMS have also been designated for confirmatory testing and treatment of COVID-19 cases.

The District Health Department has issued precautionary guidelines advising individuals suffering from cold, cough, and fever—particularly those with comorbidities—to wear masks, avoid crowded places, and seek immediate medical attention at nearby government health centers. Households with symptomatic individuals are encouraged to keep their homes well-ventilated and maintain physical distancing. Residents have also been reminded to follow COVID-appropriate behavior including frequent handwashing and not to panic.
