During the visit, he reviewed the overall sanitation and instructed Health Officer Shri Rajesh Mishra to prioritize the cleaning of major drains and nullahs ahead of the monsoon season. He also directed Sub Engineer Shri Ashok Dewangan to coordinate with shopkeepers at Tirupati Complex to resolve parking issues and prepare a proposal for the repair and resurfacing of Aara Machine Road.

Observing conditions on Speaker House Road and Aara Machine Road, the Commissioner instructed ward officials to ensure thorough garbage collection, side-road cleanliness, and proper maintenance of urinals adjacent to Speaker House. He emphasized public awareness for segregating dry and wet waste under the door-to-door garbage collection program and achieving 100% user charge recovery.

Further, he called for immediate road repair proposals and directed the disconnection of unauthorized water connections at vehicle servicing centers near GE Road Hanuman Mandir. Encroachments near Ambedkar Chowk’s labor building were also ordered to be removed.

In Ganj Chowk, he noted cleanliness near the municipal complex and advised designated cleaning of parking areas, along with educating vehicle owners to maintain discipline and hygiene in parking zones. He also visited a newly constructed community hall and provided technical guidance for its final development.

At Manav Mandir Chowk, a busy urban intersection, the Commissioner stressed heightened attention to cleaning as it serves as a prominent city route. Health Committee Member Shri Shaiki Bagga also discussed sanitation matters with the Commissioner on-site.

Regarding drain maintenance, the Commissioner sought updates from the Health Officer, who informed that drain cleaning across the city is being conducted in three phases—both manually and using JCBs. Ongoing operations include cleaning near the Old Bus Stand and Indira Sarovar. Shri Vishwakarma directed phased cleaning of all major drains before the rainy season and recommended use of JCB chain-mounted machines wherever necessary to avoid waterlogging during monsoon.
