Bhavna Bohra Calls Upon BJP Workers to Embrace Social Harmony and Patriotism

A district-level workshop on the Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas 650th birth anniversary celebrations and the Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan was held at the Bharatiya Janata Party office in Rajnandgaon.
The programme was organized in a respectful and dignified atmosphere. Participants took a pledge to spread the life, philosophy and message of social harmony and humanity of Sant Guru Ravidas among the people.
Addressing the workshop as the chief speaker, Pandariya MLA Bhavna Bohra said the Bharatiya Janata Party is not merely a political party but also an ideological movement that continuously inspires society to work towards unity and harmony.
She said the BJP is committed to establishing social unity, equality, social justice and inclusivity. To take these ideals to the grassroots, a nationwide campaign is being organized. As part of the campaign, Kalash Yatras will be taken out and extensive public outreach programmes will be conducted. The teachings and philosophy of Sant Guru Ravidas will also be taken to hostels and various social groups.
The campaign will continue with active programmes until Magh Purnima next year, which will mark the next Sant Ravidas Jayanti.
Bhavna Bohra Urges Workers to Adopt Social Harmony
Bhavna Bohra elaborated on the life and teachings of Sant Guru Ravidas and urged BJP workers to set a clear purpose in their lives. She called upon them to adopt the party’s ideals of Integral Humanism, social harmony and patriotism in their daily lives instead of limiting them to speeches.
She said Sant Ravidas was concerned about the welfare and dignity of every individual. Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to ensure food security for crores of poor and working-class families. She also highlighted the welfare initiatives undertaken during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh for the poor of Chhattisgarh.
Bhavna Bohra said she was impressed by the enthusiastic participation of BJP workers in Rajnandgaon, popularly known as Sanskardhani. She said the workers were taking the party’s message of social harmony to every household.

She also highlighted the spiritual relationship between Sant Ravidas and Meerabai, who accepted him as her Guru.
Programmes to Continue from July 29 to February 20
District Organisation In-charge Jitendra Verma provided detailed information about the programmes to be organized from July 29 to February 20 as part of the 650th birth anniversary celebrations of Sant Guru Ravidas.
He said programmes would be organized at the state level as well as at the mandal, Shakti Kendra and booth levels to ensure the successful implementation of the campaign.
Senior BJP leader Khubchand Parkh also spoke about Sant Guru Ravidas and his contribution to society. He said Sant Ravidas used his thoughts and actions to oppose social discrimination, caste-based inequality and the differences between the rich and poor.
District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput welcomed MLA Bhavna Bohra and appealed to party workers to participate in the Sant Ravidas Jayanti campaign with complete dedication and active involvement.
The programme was conducted by District General Secretary Dikesha Sahu, while the vote of thanks was proposed by programme convener Prashant Kodape.
