Gayatri Vidyapeeth Holds Condolence Meeting in Memory of Rajadevi Surjan

A condolence meeting was held this morning at Gayatri Vidyapeeth’s prayer hall following the demise of Smt. Rajadevi Surjan, revered mother of Shri Brijkishore Surjan (President of Gayatri Shikshan Samiti), Shri Nandkishore Surjan, and Shri Ramesh Surjan, who passed away on April 5, 2025.

Students and staff gathered to offer their respects, observing two minutes of silence in her memory. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Smt. Shailja Nair expressed deep sorrow, stating, “For the Gayatri family, this is an immense loss. Rajadevi ji was a guiding force, like the head of a family, offering support through every phase. Her blessings have nurtured this institution, and we pray that her grace continues to inspire us.”

Several prominent members of the Gayatri Shikshan Samiti and school administration were present to pay tribute, including:

The Gayatri family collectively prayed to Maa Gayatri for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.
