According to a statement issued by District Congress Committee spokesperson and media in-charge Anees Khan, hundreds of Congress workers welcomed Deepak Baij with garlands and escorted him to the meeting venue.

Congress Calls for Unity in Election Campaign

Addressing the gathering, District Congress Committee President Vipin Yadav urged party workers to contest the election with unity and determination to establish a Congress-led municipal government in Ghumka.
